David Fincher

David Fincher is held responsible for being criminally good at filmmaking. With films like Fight Club, Se7en and The Social Network being regarded as instant classics. It's difficult to see how everything just went so well. Including the editing; Lets fast forward from his beginning, to a recent addition to his repertoire that is 2007's The Social Network. Three time Oscar winning, every frame is a painting type of film. Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall received their Oscars for vigorously, relentlessly and scientifically editing this film. Sure, the screenplay is responsible for the ingenuity that is having the first and last scene marry eachother. But Aaron Sorkin could only write so far, the rest was left for the production team and Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall to do. What they achieved in the end was a film where every line of dialogue, every scene and every frame they kept in, meant something to the viewer watching it.
