CGI Continued
So Star Wars.
It's controversial in this topic. But instances where CGI is used insanely correctly are as follows;
The Wolf of Wall Street
-Hold on wait. The Wolf of Wall Street has CGI? Of course, it's a period piece. Basically the whole point of CGI is by definition by many; something you're not supposed to notice. There are countless scenes in Sci-Fi, farfetched films where we look and can kind of figure out what we're seeing isn't real, but not the point. Point is- what we're seeing needs to do two things;
1: Look real
2: Be used in the right space in the right time
Visually placing a few trees is a good shout when the viewer's eyes are trained on a few characters talking. Arguably, visually placing a large alien in the background is bad use of CGI. But again it's all opinions.
